This is the story of an entrepreneur, Christian Guyader, who embarked on the crazy challenge of recreating a cannery on the island of Groix. Started in 2000 in Port Lay in the north-west of the island, this long adventure continues 18 years later beyond the borders of Groix.
In love with the sea and boats and a true sailor at heart, Christian Guyader is embarking on the most mythical of solo transatlantic races. On the 4th of November, he will sail from St Malo to Guadeloupe with 123 participants on board his catamaran, the TS42.
Sailing has its own values: perseverance and humility!
His goal? To achieve this in 20 days or so, to live his adventure as intensely as possible and to follow his childhood dream to the end.
The whole Groix&Nature crew supports him in this great challenge!
